Common moisturizing ingredients

Glycerin

1. Glycerin: a natural moisturizer that can absorb moisture from the air and hydrate the skin.

Vaseline

2. Vaseline: has good chemical stability and can form a protective film on the skin, keeping the skin in a soothing state. It does not bring moisture to your skin, but locks in moisture.

Aloe Vera

3. Aloe Vera: can penetrate deep into the skin to lock in moisture and prevent the evaporation of moisture on the surface of the skin.

Vitamin B5

4. Vitamin B5: also known as panthenol, is a permeable moisturizer. After being absorbed by the skin, it can directly penetrate into the stratum corneum, increase the hyaluronic acid content in the skin, and achieve moisturizing effects.

Natural moisturizing factor

5. Natural moisturizing factor: referred to as NMF, the main ingredients are amino acids, sodium lactate, urea, etc. It is an absorbent, water-soluble substance that can combine with water in the stratum corneum and maintain the water content of keratinocytes by regulating and storing water, making the skin naturally hydrated.

Hyaluronic acid

6. Hyaluronic acid: also known as hyaluronic acid, it has strong water absorption and is an important mucus in the dermis. It can absorb hundreds of times its own weight of water and fill the stratum corneum with water in a short time. It is called "high-efficiency moisturizing ingredient".

Hydrolyzed collagen

7. Hydrolyzed collagen: It can effectively lock the moisture in the skin and prevent it from losing too much, so that the skin is always moist and tender.

Squalene

8. Squalene: It can provide oxygen and nutrients to cells, promote cell metabolism, form a sebum film outside the skin, and prevent water loss.

Seaweed extract

9. Seaweed extract: It contains a variety of active compounds, which will produce gel-like collagen when combined with body protein, thereby enhancing the skin's water-locking ability and enhancing the skin's moisturizing effect.

Ceramide

10. Ceramide: It has a large number of hydrophilic groups and has a strong affinity for water. It is a very efficient moisturizer that can strengthen the skin barrier and lock in moisture.

Shea Butter

11. Shea Butter: It can form a milky isolation layer on the surface of the skin to prevent skin moisture loss and has a strong water-locking and moisturizing function.

β-Glucan

12. β-Glucan is a natural high-polysaccharide that can form a transparent, elastic, and breathable film on the skin. Its macromolecular structure can fully lock in moisture and prevent moisture loss, and has high moisturizing properties.

Common moisturizing ingredients.

The above ingredients all have good moisturizing functions and are often added to skin care products alone or in combination to form a protective film on the surface of the skin to prevent moisture loss on the skin surface and keep the skin hydrated and clear.
