What is the difference between sensitive skin and allergic skin?
Many female consumers like to say "I have sensitive skin, I dare not use anything", but if you ask a few more questions in depth, you will find that many people cannot distinguish the meaning of "sensitive" and "allergic". As long as the skin is slightly red, they say they are allergic, or they self-identify as sensitive skin. In fact, many people don't know what real sensitive skin is. Today, let's talk about it!

Sensitive skin
Sensitive skin is often caused by damaged facial skin barrier and rapid loss of epidermal moisture, so it is particularly susceptible to irritation.
The stratum corneum is the outermost layer of the epidermis. Its main function is to protect our dermis and subcutaneous tissue, prevent them from infection and dehydration, and fight against the pressure caused by the outside world on the skin. The stratum corneum with appropriate thickness has good natural moisturizing ability and resistance. The problem with sensitive skin lies in the thin stratum corneum, less sebum secretion, poor water lock ability, and weak resistance. Therefore, a very critical step in the daily care of sensitive skin is to repair the stratum corneum - it is necessary to gently moisturize and hydrate the skin without irritating the weak stratum corneum.
Allergic skin

Allergic skin is an allergic reaction caused by external allergens contacting the skin, such as catkins and pollen, which may cause skin allergies. But people who are allergic to certain substances are not necessarily sensitive skin.
When the skin is allergic, the skin will have problems such as erythema, papules, itching and peeling. Be sure to go to the hospital in time for a systematic allergen inspection. No matter where you go in the future, avoid those allergens that may cause allergies and be responsible for your skin!
Allergies caused by external stimuli, resulting in a highly intolerant skin condition, may be congenital or caused by improper acquired skin care. During the sensitive period, the skin will have symptoms such as redness, fever, tightness, tingling, and itching. Even if there is no large-scale outbreak of sensitive problems, there is always a faint red face on a daily basis, and even accompanied by itching and pain.
Sensitive skin should pay attention to the following points
1 Avoid using products containing acid, alcohol, and other ingredients in skin care;
2 Wash your face with warm water at most twice a day, and do not leave cleansing products on your face for more than 1 minute;
3 Use fewer cleansing masks, such as peel-off masks;
4 Do not need to use a cleansing device every day.
The reason why "anti-allergic skin" can eliminate the "recurrence" of allergies is that "anti-allergic skin" has a strong skin defense layer that can effectively resist external damage. To achieve "anti-allergic skin", you must start from the root of allergies. You can use some mild external products to soothe and calm the skin, build a protective film on the skin surface, and then use internal products to remove excess free radicals, repair and thicken the stratum corneum from the inside of the skin, and build a skin defense layer step by step. The skin has an unbreakable protective barrier, and the skin color is naturally smooth and white, showing the healthiest state.
First, you need to strengthen your skin barrier ability, which is the foundation of everything. You can carefully try to use some non-exfoliating, mildly formulated, and functional products. If you only talk about cleansing, moisturizing, and sun protection every day, who will understand that people with sensitive skin also have a desire for anti-aging and whitening?
